She stated her views.....and lost.

The first runner-up for Miss USA tells Fox News Channel that she may have lost her chance at the crown because of her answer to a question about same-sex "marriage." However, she says she had to stand on biblical truth. Check out this story. The gay judge that provided her with the question is bashing her left and right for her answer.... I'm proud of her for standing up for her beliefs....

Check out the video here.

Have a great week everyone.

I saw a clip of the young woman responding to the question and you could see the knowledge come over her as she proceeded that she was probably giving up any hope for the title as she held to her beliefs. I have also seen that judges total hysterical ranting on his blog and it is very sad to see what homosexuals demand from us in the way of tolerance but refuse to offer any tolerance back.

I never expected this article though. Especially from Roland Martin.

I think that was so unfair to even allow such a question! We 'normal' people are supposed to change our beliefs and what we've been taught our entire lives to defend these other people? I'm with Carrie Prejean...at least she didn't stand there and lie just to win.

((( HUGS )))

Granny Annie - You are right....They believe in tolerance as long as it goes their way...He asked a question, she gave an answer...

Fred - Good article from Roland Martin.

Nancy - It shows you that she has character.

Renie - Yes, she does have courage and it cost her the pageant...We know what is important to her. She is beautiful and courageous.

YOU GO GIRL! I think it was incredibly brave for her to stick to her beliefs. Granny Annie put it beautifully!

Why they would have put Perez in there as a judge is totally beyond me.

I went over to Perez's blog and read the comments that were left for him. I was amazed that so many were in favor of Miss California. Perhaps her just speaking out will give the rest of us courage to speak what we believe. Mainstream media makes it look like if we aren't PC we are alone. It just isn't true.

Homosexuality isn't the only issue where we are expected to be tolerant, but don't expect the same in return. I'm tired of giving up my rights to people who come to this country and try to make it like the one they just left. There's a reason why these idiots left.
